The story

As an artist, therapist, Yogi, teacher, and seeker. Rasha’s work is rooted in a commitment to culturally competent, inclusive, and ethically responsible healing spaces.

Raised between Egypt and Germany and now based in the U.S., she brings a deep awareness of both Eastern and Western paradigms—recognizing how Western frameworks often prioritize individual growth while failing to acknowledge the impact of colonization, genocide, and the ongoing struggles of communities from Turtle Island to Palestine.

She has grown frustrated by the lack of recognition for the histories, contributions, and ongoing struggles of the very communities from which many healing practices originate—practices that are often later appropriated and repackaged in modern spaces to serve individual needs, disconnected from the collective fabric they were birthed from and belong to.

This site was created in response and is intended to be an ongoing journey in humble discovery.

Rasha has come to recognize that personal healing cannot be separated from collective liberation.

Her Breathwork practice is grounded in a 20-year journey with Pranayama. She completed IKYTA-certified Kundalini Yoga training with Gurmukh at Golden Bridge in 2004 and has trained in The Healer Breathwork method with David Elliott, completing Levels 1–6 at the Omega Institute in New York.

Most importantly, her Breathwork is trauma-informed—supported by both lived experience and formal education, including a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University and a lifelong commitment to personal and collective healing.

Rasha is LGBTQ+ affirmative and deeply aware of how white supremacy impacts the lives of BIPOC and SWANA communities. She is committed to the ongoing recognition of these realities and to creating healing spaces that honor those experiences and needs.
